This is the eve of the 2012 International AIDS Conference in Washington DC. I direct you to my blog post on the Give a Day website. I reflect on the seasons of the pandemic. It seems to me that while the global response started with a period of discovery, this was followed by a long spell of despair. But in more recent years it appears that the much of the global community has entered a phase of determination – a firm resolve to bring the story of HIV to its rightful end.
